What is android ?

Android is mostly used mobile platform in today's world , we know in now a days worlds 90% users of mobile smart devices having android , the situation is not same before launching of android, today maximum companies using android product as os of their smartphones, android is opensource so that any one can access it freely,  though android is firstly owned by google, after launching OHA, it is a  part of All companies , who have their handsets or smart phones with them , but dint having platform to launch as smart phone so that as community basis , to break leading  plat form owner companies monopoly...,

As  I said , learn android is too easy... first of all we need to know what is android is...,
so , now i will explain what is android actually..., how to make any kind of android application....,

Android is platform through which, we can make various applications we are use in smart phones..,android is actually we can say, its system software , which we use in smartphones as OS,

Though android was born  as OHA(Open Handset Alliance) on 5th November 2007, still the alphabetical version name  of android was firstly start from 2009

Android version names initials start from a,b,c,d... like wise, and till now introduced all versions, are listed below....,

Aestro,  Blender, Cupcake, Donuts, Eclair, Fro yo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice cream Sandwich,

so new question is, if android is OS then why we need to learn android..,
The thing is, we are not learn android as OS,
 we learn android as programming language..., like to develop various kinds of applications,
for learning, we need to know about various platforms to build android application like net beans ,
Android studio etc....,

Through android we can make android applications which we can use in our smart phones...,
the best in to learn android is, its trending and new technology ..., in today's world there  almost every human being uses android phone , so the things we introduce using android(i.e android application) we can use it in smart phones, and through which we can earn money also,

For making android applications now a days we have various ready made tools available, but   i strongly  recommend you , if you want to make a official and reliable application , then you must go for learn android studio to make your own application,

To learn android there are various platforms available,  like Net beans, Android Studio
, these both are platforms through which we can learn android..., so just to know the things through which we can make android application is not enough.....,we need to learn android through these IDE,

History of Android??

Before android there are two kind of manufacturers one is mobile manufacturer and other is also mobile manufacturer but with their own OS to run mobile also, 

Nokia is having Symbian , Apple having IOS, Black berry having there own OS, and other mobile manufacturers those which are  handset manufacturers like Sony,Samsung,Moto and others are use Os of above mentioned companies to there handsets  i.e, OS manufacturers sale their OS to handset manufacturers

In 2003  Android company was founded to make mobile platforms by Andy Rubin, Rich miner,Nick Sears and Chis white Name android is also given by these founders , but some how its not work for long time in  market and , in 2005 google buy this company for making reliable mobile platforms...,

On 5th nov 2007 google introduce a new community as Open Handset Alliance(OHA)...,

Any mobile manufacturer company join OHA and  use product of OHA i.e nothing but OS or android
its a first product of android...,

As result of OHA , all mobile manufacturing companies depends for platform on leading companies are join OHA and use product of OHA, OHA is Alliance  or community,
there is no one is owner of OHA ,  google just lead OHA  and allow all companies to make and enhance android,

Like this, first product was introduced in 2009 which is totally based on android....,

Who is owner of Android??

As all we know android was introduced in 2007 as OHA to which any mobile manufacturing company can join and use product of android..., all companies here are just sharing product of android ..., no one is owner here .., though it is introduced by google still google is just lead OHA , its not owner of Android... because of so many mobile manufacturing companies join OHA  now a days

 90 % mobile are with android OS and day by day it is updating and getting better in performance.....,

What are components of android??

Activity

Every single screen in android device we see is Activity  which is consist of .java and .xml file 

. java file contains code of action we are set in one activity and .xml file contains design code of every activity...,

Service

Android by default gives some services which are location manager to trace location of device,wifi manager to connect device to wifi provider network, SQlite data base is also one service which is by default in android

Broadcast receiver

Its nothing but android having ability to sense some thing happen with it, means we can see examples regarding...,while we connect our head phones to device it shows us messege and short icon on op of device that indicates you handset connected with headset.., when your wifi is on but no network it shows messege no network available to wifi.... same when device goes in rage of any wifi it shows indication that it trace one active wifi network

Content Provider

While we use Whats-app we must need to give contacts to whats app to check how many of contacts having whats app , so the contact is different application in or device we are give permission to whats app application to get data it found in contacts cause whats app application needs contacts to run itself on users device..., 

so the process of getting content of one application on device to function properly one other application is content provider its also important part of android

mobile or smartphones ,

TECHNOLOGY WILL GROW IN A WAY ,WE CANT EVEN IMAGINE...,
